Launched in September 2000 by Jérôme Bellay, Maximal Productions produces special reports, documentaries and news and information magazine shows.

Maximal Productions covers over 400 hours of information annually, with a focus on news and current affairs.

C dans l’air: Every day for one hour, Caroline Roux, Bruce Toussaint and guests discuss a topical theme based on items from the newsroom (France 5 – 5:50 p.m.). The program is also offered digitally (synchronized with the live broadcast), in partnership with France Télévisions.
C à dire: Broadcast right before C dans l’air. Axel de Tarlé hosts a live interview with the “person of the hour” (France 5 – 5:30 p.m.).
C politique: A weekly political magazine presented by Caroline Roux (France 5 – 6 p.m.), who invites special guests to analyze and discuss the main news of the day.

Maximal also produces documentaries:

Brésil, terre promise du football (90 mins - France 5 - directed by F.X. Rigot). José Touré takes us on a journey around Brazil to discover the hot spots and icons of futbol culture.
Quand la toile tisse la haine (52 mins - France 5 - directed by F. Hoss). They’re the dark side of the internet: “trolls” and “bashers.” An in-depth look at these breeders of hate.
Pensionnaires volontaires (60 mins - TF1 Reportages - directed by E. Coudray). Portraits of schoolchildren who voluntarily chose to go to boarding school.
L'inquiétant Monsieur Trump (70 mins - France 5 - directed by R. Besnainou) - The rise to power of Donald Trump from his election to his investiture on January 20th

Maximal Productions won the Albert Londres Prize in 2007 for the documentary Muttur: un crime contre l’humanitaire by Anne Poiret.
